Your guide to Warsaw

Welcome to the website of my company Step in Warsaw, where I provide guide services around Warsaw.

I work in the following languages: Polish, English and German.

I especially like to present the traces of Poland and Poles in the world. Not everyone knows that Fryderyk Chopin and Maria Skłodowska-Curie came from Poland...

A wealth of diversity

Warsaw is a city that hides many secrets. Around every corner, new discoveries, hidden corners and unexpected stories await us. This is a place where the past meets the future, and tradition meets modernity. Every walk around Warsaw is a journey through time and space.

Warsaw is a Phoenix city that, like the mythological bird, was reborn from its own ashes…

The city's architecture is a mirror of its history.

Royal palaces and gardens, buildings from the time of Polish People's Republic with the Palace of Culture and Science and modern skyscrapers – this is how my tourists see Warsaw. They also know that Warsaw is the only city in Poland with a metro line, the city where Fryderyk Chopin and Maria Skłodowska-Curie spent their childhood and youth, they see the church where Chopin's heart is buried and they hear that his music is still alive in Warsaw, they see the eternal flame and the eternal Guard of Honour at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Hmm, and why is there a Mermaid monument in Warsaw? There is no sea here…

You can visit Warsaw for a week and still not have enough time...

However, to feel the atmosphere of the city and learn its history, 3 hours is enough.

If you would like to have an adventure with Warsaw, please contact me . I will present you a program tailored to your interests and time.

In preparation for your meeting with Warsaw, I recommend you to review the website of the Warsaw Tourist Office.

I invite you to view the offers of ready-made sightseeing programs in the links below.

Palace of Culture

and Science

The king of architecture of the Polish People's Republic time with a viewing terrace on the 30th floor. Now surrounded by glass skyscrapers. Guess why this place has the most beautiful view of Warsaw!

Old Town

Reborn like a Phoenix from the ashes...

Razed to the ground during World War II and beautifully rebuilt.

Inscribed together with the Royal Castle on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Warsaw Uprising Museum

"We wanted to be free and owe this freedom to nobody". The Warsaw Uprising proved that Warsaw is proud and invincible. Semper Invicta! The anchor - the symbol of Fighting Poland.

Monument to Fryderyk Chopin in the Royal Łazienki Park

"A Varsovian by birth, a Pole at heart, and a citizen of the world by talent (...)".

Warsaw is the beloved city of the famous composer and pianist.

His heart is with us.

A pearl of classical architecture in the summer residence of the king of Poland.

Łazienki Królewskie are the "lungs of the city", a favorite place for the rest and walks.
