The Teacher’s Day in Poland is celebrated on the 14th of October and commemorates the creation by the Polish parliament and the king of Poland Stanisław August Poniatowski the National Education Commission (14.10.1773).
The National Education Commission was the first secular education authority considered the first Ministry of Education in the world!
In the year 2007 the National Education Commission Archives were registered in the documentary heritage UNESCO list – Memory of the World Register.
